Relay runners race
The 11th annual Skeena River Relay took place on the first weekend of June 2012 when runners from across the northwest gathered to race a combined distance of 140 kilometres, running various distances from the relay’s starting point in Prince Rupert to the finish line in Terrace. There were 32 teams that participated, 320 runners in total, and more than 75 volunteers who showed up to make the relay a success. The Terrace team that took a first place standing in the race was the Skeena Expresso, with a time of 11:12:07 hours.
