Hospital gave excellent care

Dear Sir:

Regarding the article in your paper of July 27, 2011 about Mills Memorial Hospital, I want to tell you about my experiences.

What was written in the report about mortality after heart attack incidents is not accurate.

On June 15, 2011 I had a heart attack at my home in Terrace. My husband, Elio, rushed me to emergency at the hospital where I received wonderful care.

I want to thank all the doctors and nurses. They gave me my life back.

This was not my first experience at the emergency department. On two previous occasions I required medical care on an urgent basis.

I have always been treated in a very professional way and with respect.

All the staff and doctors have been very kind. I thank them all with my heart.

Special thanks to my dear husband Elio who acted so quickly to get me to the hospital.

Lucy Bomben,

Terrace, B
