Tia Roxanne Minnie AZAK

Sept.22, 1984- July 29, 2006

Tia, after prolonged problems with major infection leading to septic shock passed away peacefully in Surrey Memorial Hospital at 12:50 A.M. on Saturday, July 29th.

She was much loved by her natural parents: her father, Russell Azak, mother Margaret Moore and step-father the Rev. James Moore, as well as her brother Mark and sister Jaymee. Also: by her adoptive family Jean and Don Strangway, with whom she lived for 19 of her 21 years and captured the hearts of our family.

We would like to thank all those people who made her memorial service such a wonderful meaningful event. This was held at Knox United Church in Terrace with The Rev. Wallace Hargrave and Shirlee Lindsay officiating.

Thank you to all the speakers and to Marilyn Brodie who provided the music. Cheryl and Sarah Wyatt gave a beautiful rendition of Amazing Grace.

Thank you also to the United Church Women who provided a tea following the service. The response of about 350 people attending was overwhelming for a little girl 21 years of age who had such an impact on the community.

In Loving Memory:

The Strangway family: Jean and Don, Kevin and Nadina, John and Anna, Christine and Joe Idy, Paul and Carlene.

In memoriam gifts can be made to:
