Garneau, Thomas, John passed away at. St. Joseph’s Hospital, Comox, B.C. on Thursday, January 8th, 2004. Tom was born in St. Paul, Alberta, March 1st, 1939, he was 64.

He is survived by his loving wife Iris of 45 1/2 years, sons Ron (Lisa) Garneau of Campbell River, Ray (Lynne) Garneau of Terrace, daughters Denise (Bob) Sheridan of Lillooet, grandchildren Janine, Jessica, Josh, Tanner, Scott, Mitchell, Cole, and Erin; brothers Ron Garneau of Prince George, Alex (Donna) Garneau of Vernon, and Richard Garneau of Cranbrook, sisters Louise Garneau of White Rock, Lorraine Marks of Campbell River and Kathy (Barry ) Shawara of McBride, B.C., together with many nieces and nephews. Tom loved to golf and fish, and put his creative talents to work in his garden. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and friend, who was very proud of his entire family. He will be ever loved and sadly missed by all.

A memorial celebration of Tom’s life was held on Monday, January 12th, 2004, from the Chapel of Comox Valley Funeral Home & Crematorium, 1101 Ryan Road, Courtenay, B.C.
