With sadness we announce the passing of a beautiful life of a beautiful woman, Stella deConceicão Mendes a wife, mother and grandmother at Vancouver General Hospital on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the age of 64 years.
A sudden two week long intense and courageous battle ended with her loving husband João (John) at her side. She will be dearly missed by her two daughters Stella B and Elizabeth, son in laws Luis and Joe. Cherished grandmother to Sabrina, Mercedes, Julio and Travis.
She is now free of pain and suffering.
A prayer vigil will be held Friday, March 22, 2013 at 7 pm at Sacred Heart Parish Catholic Church located at 4830 Straume Ave, Terrace, B.C.
Funeral to take place March 23, 2013 at 11 a.m., reception to follow at Veritas Catholic School Gym. Burial to follow at Terrace Municpal Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are being conducted by McKay’s Funeral Home in Terrace, B.C.
