Richard (Dick) Brown

Tragically on August 27th 2004, in the early morning hours just north of Williams Lake, Dick was taken from his family. He will be forever missed by sons Carmon (Jeanette), Robbie, Mark, and daughters Colleen (Robert) and Tamara (Philip).

Left behind are his 11 Grandchildren, Jason, Sean, Christopher, Magen, Calen, Jesse, Ryland, Braidy, Joel, Karlee, Joshua and Great-Granddaughter Trinity. Also loving companion Jane is left to mourn his passing. Other family left behind is his sister Brenda and niece Mindy from Ontario. Brother-in-law Gerry, and nieces Shelly, Debbie, May, and Theresa. Nephews Danny and Gerry Jr. Lagace all in Alberta. Dick was predeceased by his father Bruce Brown, mother Thelma Dube and sister Bonnie Lagace.

Dick was born in Plaster Rock, New Brunswick on May 21, 1941. He was laid to rest in the Terrace cemetery taken there from The Seventh-Day Adventist Church by his best friend Don Ganson on horseback.

Dick drove a semi-truck and loved horses, he was a cowboy at heart. God saw that this cowboy needed to rest and took him to his Heavenly home along with his good friend Dean. We’d like to thank everyone for cards, flowers and help during this very difficult time.

Dad, we love you and miss you. Sleep sweet. You will “Always Be On Our Mind”
