Rene passed away peacefully on January 20, 2010 with his family by his side. Rene is survived by Gabrielle, his loving wife of 59 years, his sons Jacques (Birgit), Guy (Lynn) and Kenneth (Sue), three brothers, three sisters, 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, with one still to arrive along with many nieces and nephews.
Rene always lived his life to he fullest and encouraged others around him to do the same. His spirit and his value of friendship, was exemplary of his life, which has now transcended into his continuing journey.
The memorial mass was officiated by his friend, Father Terry Brock at the Sacred Heart Parish in Terrace, BC on January 26th followed by a warm reception provided by the CWL.
The LeBlanc family would like to thank Dr. Fourie, the staff at Mills Memorial Hospital and Home Care Nurses and workers team for all of their emotional support and kindness throughout this difficult time.
Rene has now joined the host of saints who continue to support
and watch over us.
