Rick Rooney, 56, died Nov. 4, 2003 at VGH. He was born February 4, 1947 in Edmonton, AB, the son of Audrey (Turton) and Robert A. Rooney both deceased. Rick was a faller for over 30 years and recently a cab driver. He was a brilliant fisherman and avid outdoorsman. He lived in Terrace for 12 years and previously at Ness Lake and Lumby, B.C.
He will be sadly missed by his partner of 20 years Barbara Whiting, and 2 children Laara (Cameron) Cooper of NSW, Australia and Janel (Andrew) McFadyen of Norwich, UK and sister Shauna (Mike) Carlson of Kamloops. Cremation and services were held Nov. 8 in Coquitlam with friends and family.
