Neal passed away quietly at home on March 15, 2004. He is survived by his wife Betty, sons Larry (Lynne), Terrace, Jim (Monica) Landmark, Man. and daughter Shelley (Jamie), Terrace, grandchildren Melanie and Kenzie Koopmans, Aaron, Kenneth and Nicholas Nordstrom and Megan Nordstrom. Sisters Ruth Blight, Hamilton, Ont. and Ina Dubnyk (Walter) North Battleford, Sask. Niece Mary Ann Burdett (Doug) Terrace and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by all. Predeceased by his parents, Sven and Signe Nordstrom, brothers Carl, Harry, Ralph, Roy, and Clarence, sisters Mary and Ella.

Neal was born in Fairholme, Sask. and spent his early life at Robin Hood, Sask. until moving to Lloydminster to work, where he met his wife Betty. They moved to Saskatoon where Neal was employed and lived there until moving to Wilkie, Sask. and then to Terrace in 1969, where he was employed for a short time at Dave’s Plumbing and then worked for School District 88 until his retirement in 1992. Neal was an active member of the Community with the Kinsmen, the Legion, and the B.C. Seniors Games. He loved sports and was active in slopitch, bowling, curling most of his life.

The Nordstrom family wish to thank Dr. DeWitt and Jeannie, the Community Health Nurses, and the Home Care workers for their care for Neal in his last days. A huge thank you to friends for food, flowers, cards and support at this difficult time. A special thank you to the Tuesday morning Curling ladies for baking goodies for the reception and Terrace Bowling Lanes, for the meat & cheese tray. Thanks to Peter Crompton and Legion Branch 13 for their participation in the service.
