Smile though your heart is aching,
Smile, even though it’s breaking,
When there are clouds in the sky,
You’ll get by.
If you smile through your fear and sorrow,
Smile and maybe tomorrow,
You’ll see the sun come shining through, for you.
Light up your face with gladness,
Hide every trace of sadness,
Although a tear maybe ever so near.
That’s the time you must keep on trying.
Smile, what’s the use of crying.
You’ll find that life is still worth while,
If you just smile.
Carreiro, DaPonte and DeMedeiros families wish to express our deepest, sincerest gratitude to all the friends and their families who showed and gave their support through thought, deed or action during this time of tragedy and loss in our lives. Words are not enough.
Our love goes out to the staff at Mills Memorial Hospital who never waivered in their tender loving care for our mother, you all know who you are, God has reserved a place for you in Heaven. You are true heroes to us, Mom would be proud to have known people such as yourselves.
Our tears are not in vain. Cancer is a horrible disease, but our Mother died with dignity.
She will be waiting in Heaven with open arms and a smile on her face. Her beautiful face.
