It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Hislop (nee: Spencer). She was surrounded by her loving family in her final days and we were blessed to be by her side.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Ian Merle Hislop, her daughters, Leslie Diemert & Sandra Hislop and her grandchildren, Rachel Hislop-Hook and Jenelle & Joel Diemert.
Patricia was born in Kelowna in 1936 and lived there until she married Merle in 1958. They then lived in various places in B.C. and had a wonderful love affair that lasted the rest of her life.
Her family was the most important thing to her and she dedicated her life to making a wonderful home and caring for us. She especially enjoyed her 3 grandchildren and was the most amazing Grandma!
She has left many special memories in our hearts and is dearly missed.
Merle is relocating to Kelowna where there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
