Linda passed away at Mills Memorial Hospital on November 14, 2003 after a valiant fight with cancer.

Linda was born in Lady Lake, Saskatchewan on March 22, 1953 to George and Edith Leason. She started her education at Sunny Brae school in Lady Lake and when her family moved to Terrace, B.C. in 1965, she continued her education there.

Linda especially loved to play cards and board games. She also enjoyed crosswords, puzzles, and painting. She did beautiful fancy work like crocheting and embroidery. She also enjoyed gardening.

Linda was predeceased by her father George in 2002. she leaves to cherish her memory - her loving mother Edith, as well as an uncles, aunties, cousins, second cousins, and numerous friends.

Funeral service was held on November 21, 2003 at 1:30 at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church in Terrace, B.C. Rev. Jim Cain and Rev. Mark Hatch officiated. Rusty Ljungh arranged the music. Internment followed at the Terrace Municipal cemetery.

Active pallbearers were: Wendy Killoran, Gloria Kuiper, Avril Albright, Nora Bystrom, Linda Myers, Marilyn Lissimore, Kris Linstrom and Colleen Petrick. Honorary Pallbearers were her cousins.

Reception was held in St. Matthew’s Centre.

McKay’s Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
