Kenneth 'Brian' Peters

December 25, 1950 - September 28, 2017

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Kenneth 'Brian' Peters. Brian passed away on September 28, 2017 at Mills Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.

Born in Edmonton Alberta, Brian lived most of his life in Terrace, BC working throughout northern British Columbia and spending time with his family and friends.

He was a caring, hardworking and dedicated man who was known to many through his ownership and operation of BriDon Installations. Brian was someone who would give his last dollar to anyone in need, often bending over backwards for those closest to him and never expecting anything in return.

Brian was predeceased by his parents Ernest and Lila Jean (Smith) Peters, his sister Bev Kope and brother in law Alan Kope.

He is survived by his partner and the love of his life Christine Ball, his sister Gail Buteau, his brother Don (Eileen) Peters, his sons Michael (Sara) Peters and Kevin (Dawn) Peters and his beloved grandchildren Patience, Michael Jr, Logan, Jesse, Cooper, Joshua and Hope.

He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who loved him dearly.

Thank you to Doctor Linton, the nurses and staff of Mills Memorial Hospital for caring for Brian and our family during this very trying time.

A very special thank you to Doctor Fourie for being there with us in his final moments. Your kindness and presence was appreciated.

To honour and respect Brian's wishes no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, a donation to your local animal shelter would be greatly appreciated as a legacy to Brian's love for his two dogs Tye and Kirby.

A golden heart stopped beating,

Hard working hands at rest,

It broke our hearts to see you go,

God only takes the best

They say that memories are golden,

Well maybe that is true,

But we never wanted memories,

We only wanted you,

Your life was love and labour,

Your love for your family true,

You did your best for all of us,

We will always remember you.
