Keith Hamilton Tucker

TUCKER - Keith Hamilton.

Born in Denzil, Saskatchewan, July 20, 1916. Keith died peacefully at home, with his family around him on April 15. He is survived by his wife, Pat; son, Hugh and his wife, Anne; grandchildren, Kathleen and Alexander, of Vaare, Denmark and daughter, Susan Phillips of Vancouver and her son, Keith of Victoria. After graduation from the University of Toronto in 1943 he served in the navy during the Second World War. Keith practiced optometry in Terrace and Kitimat before retiring to North Saanich in 1980. While living in Terrace he served on the School Board for thirteen years. He was also an active member of Rotary in Terrace and member of the Skeena Valley Golf Course.

Following his retirement in Sidney he joined the Sidney Rotary Club and later became a founding member of the Sidney Probus Club. He was a member of the St Andrew’s Men’s Club and the Glen Meadow’s Golf Club.

Keith enjoyed his friends and will be remembered for his warm and welcoming hospitality as well as his generous support of his friends and family and will be sadly missed by them all.
