PARKER - Julie passed away Saturday, February 17, 2007 at the age of 68. She is survived by her long-time partner, Paul (Bo) Barnetson and loving friend
Salvador; four daughters: Bonnie (Tom) of Kelowna, Wendi (Steve) of Kelowna, Cindy (Dave) of Kelowna, Debbie of Nanaimo; son Bart of Black Creek, BC; eleven grandchildren; two brothers: Bill (Eileen) of Terrace, Jack of Terrace; four sisters: Gail (Jim) of Terrace, Vicky of Cedarvale, BC, Wilhemina of Terrace, Lorna of Terrace and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sadly predeceased by her sons: Brad and Larry; brothers James and Arnold Friesen and sister Grace Kerr.
Julie was an adventurous woman having experienced many journeys in life including running her own art studio in White Rock, BC and crewing on a deep sea fishing vessel off the coast of San Francisco. She always loved family gatherings and devoted much time to enjoying and spoiling her beloved grandchildren. The memory of her love will remain in our hearts forever.
A Memorial Service will be held in July in Terrace, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Centre for the Southern Interior, 399 Royal Avenue, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 5L3. A gift in living memory of Julie will be made to “Holding Hands for Hospice” by Springfield Funeral Home.
