Obituary for Jefferd, Joyce Marie
Jefferd, Joyce Marie (Cote-Geddes) passed away peacefully after year long battle of sudden dementia on June 15, 2003 in Langley, BC. Born August 15th, 1932 in Masset, BC. Joyce will be lovingly remembered by her family. Husband Jack, Son Raymond, daughter Valerie (Moore), daughter in law Dawn (Jefferd) Son in law William (Moore) her 4 grand children Morgan (Moore), Brittenie (Moore), Kaila (Moore) and Grace (Jefferd). Joyce and Jack returned to the island and settled in Nanaimo for retirement and enjoyed the island life. Joyce was active in horseshoes, bowling and loved to paint. Also was a member of the Malaspina I.O.D.E. She enjoyed her many friends and family and will sadly be missed. A special thank you goes out to the staff at Langley Memorial Maple Hill. A celabration of her life will be held Saturday July 19th , 2003 at The Ramada On Long lake, 4700 Island Hwy, Nanaimo, BC from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm where all family and friends are welcome to drop by to share the happy memories of Joyce. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Alzheimers Society would be greatly appreciated.
