“Poppa John”

July 11, 2005
Passed away in Mills Memorial Hospital after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his loving wife Edna in 1995 and son Frederick McKenzie in 1996.
The Terrace Bantam Reps biggest fan will be sadly missed by all that knew him. Survived by his sisters - Grace Ringham, Annie Woods, Effie Grant and Ella Renwick. Children - John Jr., Sandra Grindley, Gail Compton (Bob), Chester Banek, Harvey Banek (Jane), Garnet Banek, Marven McKenzie, Hilda Larson (Ken), Wilfred McKenzie (Judy), Peggy Tressiera, Marjorie Amos, Marion McKenzie, Lorraine Ridler (Harry) and 60 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Dr. Chkipov, Dr. Van Herk and the Nursing Staff at Mills Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion during Dad’s final days.
Donations can be made in his memory to the Dr. R.E.M. Lee Foundation.
