It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jessie Edith Wright nee Saunders. She was born in New Westminister on January 28, 1937 and passed peacefully on the
afternoon of February 12, 2017 surrounded by family.
Jessie was an avid traveler and loved to see the world and meet new people. She was very proud of her years spent at Terrace Safeway. She was a loving mother and nana, and impacted many lives with her kind, cheerful soul.
Jessie is predeceased by her husband Jim Wright, and sister Rose McRae.
She is survived by her sisters Joan Brooks of
Coquitlam, BC and Rita Reberg of Portland,
Oregon; brother Charlie Saunders of Penticton, BC; partner of 18 years Mordy Benjamin of Hermosa Beach, California; children Liz (Pat) Cullinane, Barb Wright (Markus), John Wright, Lynda (Tim) Alma, and
Carlene (Len) Stein as well as grandchildren Sarah, Jay, Kate, Brandon, Christen, Cara and Cait; as well as numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held
during the summer months.
We would like to especially thank the amazing staff at Terraceview Lodge for all of their hard work and support over the past few years.
She will be dearly missed,
but will be fondly
remembered.
