James “Jim” Andrew STEELE
Born April 06, 1943 In Vancouver, B. C.
Passed away suddenly On April 16, 2007
Predeceased by his father Victor, his mother
Florence, and his niece Cheryl.
Survived by his loving wife of nearly 41 years,
Vivian, his son Douglas (Jackie), his granddaughter, Laura, his sisters Jeanne and Joanne and his brothers Jack and David and many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
A Celebration of His Life was held on Monday, April 23, 2007 at the Terrace Alliance Church in Terrace and was attended by more than 500 of Jim’s friends and family.

Words cannot express our appreciation for the overwhelming support, love and comfort we have received from our friends, family, co-workers, fellow Rotarians and Sweet Adeline’s . We offer a special thank you to Dr. Kenyon, Dr. Phillips, Dr. Linton, Dr. Strangway and Dr. Appleton for the very special care you gave Jim and to Dr. De Wit and Dr. Hoy who have been so supportive of our family. All of who are our very special friends. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the nurses in both the Emergency Room and the I.C.U. Your competent and caring manner gave us confidence and strength and made us extremely proud of the excellent medical system we can depend on in Terrace. Thank you Dave Bartley for the very personal way you officiated at our Celebration, Art Erasmus for the poignant eulogy, and Jim’s other “buddies” for sharing their kind words and memories and the ushers for their assistance. The music of the Pacific Mist Chorus and the Guest Chorus was both beautiful and comforting. The baking and service provided by the Pacific Mist Chorus was extraordinary! We are blessed to have each and every one of you in our lives.
