Passed away peacefully on the morning of May 4, 2011. She had been ill for some time and spent her last days at home with her husband, Al, at her side. Gladys was a very private lady who would go out of her way to make welcome both her friends and her family. Always gracious and with such a beautiful smile. She loved all creatures, big and small and especially all the family cats in her life. She loved swimming and never refused a chance to travel be it by car, train, boat or plane. She loved her car and the freedom it provided. She enjoyed the game of bingo and spent many a good time with family or friends at the local halls.
Sadly missed by her husband, Al, her two daughters, Doreen Paulson and Marjorie McDonald. Grandchildren Lynda (Murray), Larry, Gary (Lois), Greg (Brenda), Darrel (Kim) and her great grandchildren. Predeceased by her mother, father and sister Flawrence (Linn). A special thanks to our family physician, Dr. Dana Haaf and three very understanding, compassionate nurses, Mandy, Janette and Irene.
No service is planned. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Glady’s memory to a charity of your choice.
