Remembering a Beautiful Lady
Our dear friend Elizabeth (Bette) Mahoney passed away in the early morning of July 30th, 2006.
There is no easy way to describe this beautiful, vibrant and sometimes crazy lady, but we’re sure all the people who came to know her will agree that she was
“one of a kind”!
Always the entertainer, always sought after as a fashion show model, mostly fun and laughter and sometimes a deep throated virtuoso, Bette was no ordinary Leo (born August 8th).
She loved sports, whether it be bowling, curling or golf, and took her turn at the organizing positions, though they were secondary to the fun she had participating. Always the early riser, she’d be finished 18 holes of golf before most off us were out of bed!
She had a deep sense of pride in family, and was especially proud of her daughter Robin.
A believer in Astrology and the “after life”, we take joy in just “knowing” that our dear friend Better (God’s Wart) is watching over us and wishing us “Fun and Laughter” throughout the rest of our time on this wonderful planet!
God is with you, dear friend!
