Born in Prince Rupert to Jack and Lois Ewart. Predeceased by brother Jimmy 1942, father Jack 2001, mother Lois 2015, survived by children Justine Ewart (Armstrong), Jared Ewart, sisters Jill Ewart, Joan Noel (Ewart), grandchildren Georgia Armstrong, Jack Armstrong, Brooke Ewart.
Doug passed away at Mills Memorial Hospital after a 3 year battle with cancer.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers donation can be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
A celebration of his life will be held in the summer.
