LARSON: Doris P. Larson (Carlson) passed away at Abbeyfield in Port Alberni on June 25, 2004 with her family at her side.
Predeceased by her husband Herb in August 1991 and son Larry in February 1998, Doris is survived by son Earl (Bonnie) of Terrace; daughter Gail of Port Alberni; daughter-in-law Glady of Belleville, Ontario; son-in-law George MacDonald of Port Alberni; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, as well as sisters; Hazel Sather of Calgary, Alice Laird of Vancouver, Alma Halverson of Swift Current and Lillian Beck of Kamloops.
Doris was born in Landa, North Dakota on June 24, 1914 and moved to Saskatchewan with her family in 1918. She came to B.C. in 1933 and married Herb Larson in Prince Rupert in December 1936. She lived in Terrace 1944-1955 when she moved to Kamloops and lived there until 1985 when Doris and Herb moved to Port Alberni.
