He worked for his dad's company as a cardboard bailer. Dennis moved to Terrace in 1968, after working in the logging industry for many years, he then startedhis own company "Beaudette Contracting". He loved to work, he enjoyed what he did. Operating his equipment was his life, you could see the joy it brought to him. He always had a smile on his face.

He was a kind, generous, hardworking, and loving man. He did many kind services for his community, by donating many volunteer hours, equipment and labour.

In 1980 he met Fern, fell in love, got married, then started their family. Dennis loved the outdoors and love to go camping, quading, and fishing withhis family.

In December 2014 Dennis was diagnosed with cancer. He fought hard, and still went to work. He worked until he physically could not work any more.

On February 22, 2017 with his wife by his side he lost his long hard battle and was called to Heaven to be with God.
