Clara Ileen Rema of Terrace was born in Wiser, Idaho, August 31, 1921, passed away September 2, 2006 at Mills Memorial Hospital after a courageous and lengthy battle with Cancer at the age of 85.
Clara is predeceased by her beloved husband Del in 1986, of 49 years, brothers Cecil, Glen and Gerald. She is survived by her children Ben (Angie) of Mt. Albert, Ont., Alvie of Topley, Rex (Sherry) of Terrace; 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many friends.
A special thank you to Dr. Mayburg, all the nurses and staff of second floor for their most kind and thoughtful treatment of her. (Clara) Ileen was cremated at MacKay’s Funeral Home and will be interred with her beloved husband at a later date.
There will be a memorial tea in her honour held Saturday, October 7th, 2006 at the Rod and Gun Club on Rifle Range Road in Thornhill from 2 - 5 p.m.
