Anne Skaalrud

November 30, 1919 - August 21, 2006
With great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Anne Skaalrud, of Medicine Hat, Alberta, formerly of Terrace, British Columbia.
Anne is survived by her children Lorraine Schwengler (Jerry) of Redcliff, AB, Darcy Skaalrud (Carrol) of Alma, WA, Conrad Skaalrud (Teresa) of Terrace BC and their families as well as her three sisters Mary Haskins of Naicam, SK, Catherine Stephens (Ed) of Kelowna, BC, Rose Zieger of Regina, SK, and their families.
Anne’s greatest loves were her plants, craft work and playing cards, especially cribbage. Her card-playing partner, Irma Hughes passed away August 29, 2006, eight days after Anne. Her obituary is beside Anne’s.
At Anne’s request, after cremation, there was no formal service.
Anne’s family would like to express our gratitude for the wonderful care she received while in the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital.
