The Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 63 calls for service from February 21st, 8 till February 24th, 8 AM.

The Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 63 calls for service from February 21st, 8 AM till February 24th, 8 AM. During the same time period there were nineteen people lodged in Terrace Cells. Nine of these people were lodged for public intoxication.

Shoplifter at Safeway. Police arrested a 31 yr old man for breaching his probation by being at the Safeway and for theft. Charges are being forwarded to Crown Counsel.

A white 2003 Ford Crown Vic and a blue 2007 Toyota Matrix collided at Kalum St/Lazelle Ave. The passenger of the Toyota was transported to Mills Memorial Hospital by BC Ambulance for treatment of minor injuries received. The Toyota was towed.

Hit and run in front the Soup Kitchen on Sparks St. A black 1993 Honda Civic hit a gold 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier. Under investigation.

Group of youth attempting to break into the Copper Mountain School. The group left in an older blue ford pickup truck and a dark blue sedan. One of the door handles of the school was damaged along with paint ball markings on the exterior walls.

Domestic dispute. A man smashed the contents of a residence and spat in the face of a woman. Police arrested a 20 yr old man and charges are being forwarded to Crown Counsel.

A man knocked on the door of a residence, first asked to buy cigarettes and was denied, then asked to use a phone to call a cab. A cell phone was lent to the man, who stepped outside for better reception.

The man was then observed getting in to a taxi failing to have returned the cell phone. The cell phone is described as a black Apple IPhone 4s 16 GB.

A silver 1991 Subaru Justy was pulled over on Hwy 16 near the Canadian Tire. The 38 yr old driver did not have a driver’s licence and was a prohibited driver. Charges are being forwarded to Crown Counsel and the vehicle he was driving was impounded.

A black 2011 Honda Civic was pulled over on Soucie Ave. The 47 yr old driver provided a sample of breath into a roadside screening device that resulted in a warn. She was served an Immediate Roadside Prohibition.

A blue 1995 Plymouth Voyager van was pulled over on Queensway Dr. The 24 yr old driver provided two samples of breath into a roadside screening device that resulted in fails. She was served an Immediate Roadside Prohibition and the vehicle she was driving was impounded.

A light brown leather Diesel wallet containing various cards and ID was lost.

Shoplifter at Safeway. Police arrested a 43 yr old woman. She was in breach of an undertaking. Charge of breach is being forwarded to Crown Counsel.

A white 2013 Honda Civic and a 2003 Ford F350 collided at Kenny St/Hwy 16. Two children in the Honda were transported to Mills Memorial Hospital for assessment.
