Terrace woman, 60, hospitalized after suffering from gunshot wound

Police believe the gunshot wound occurred yesterday

A 60-year-old woman was transported by BC Ambulance to Mills Memorial Hospital this morning suffering from a gunshot wound.

We have spoken with the woman. Terrace General Duty members, the Terrace General Investigation Section and the Terrace Forensic Identification Section are on scene and continue to investigate. At this time there is no evidence to suggest foul play, says Terrace RCMP Constable Angela Rabut.

Police were called by BC Ambulance shortly before 10 am this morning to a residence on Davis Ave.

A 60-year-old woman was found by family members suffering from a gunshot wound. It appears that the wound occurred yesterday. Her condition is unknown at this time.
