Terrace RCMP seek Good Samaritans

Two women helped man after he was struck by vehicle Nov. 9.

An elderly man crossing Keith Ave in the crosswalk west of the Sande Overpass was struck and injured in a hit and run yesterday Nov. 10 at approximately 8:30 AM.

Two women helped the man and called an ambulance for him.

These two women likely witnessed the incident and we would like to speak with them, or any other witnesses, says Cst Angela Rabut, Community Policing/Media Relations Terrace RCMP.

The involved car is described as green in colour.

It had slowed down for another pedestrian that was in front of the man then sped up and struck the man in the left arm area, causing injuries that required hospital treatment.
