Police did locate her canoe on lake north of Terrace, B.C.

SEARCH efforts are underway today for a woman reported missing on Kalum Lake.

The woman, 43, was first reported missing at 9 p.m. on Dec. 21 and police found her truck that evening parked at the Kalum Lake boat launch, said Terrace RCMP Constable Angela Rabut.

“Search and rescue found her canoe on Kalum Lake in the early hours of the morning of December 22,” she said.

“Search efforts continued yesterday using a local helicopter, police service dog, and [Terrace] Search and Rescue.  The search for the woman who is from Terrace continues today,” Rabut added.
