Keep an eye out for a stolen matte black truck with orange interior stolen from the parking lot of the Thornhill Pub during the night of Aug. 20.

Sonny Walterhouse, who just bought the 1989 Toyota 4×4 for $5,000 two weeks ago and then put another $1,000 into it, drank a bit too much and called his sister Amanda to come pick him up.

She returned the next day to drive the truck home and it was gone.

“He’s usually the DD [designated driver] so he’s driving all the drunks home,” said Amanda.

“So when he called for a ride home, I said ‘sure,’” she added, saying he always calls for a ride home if he needs it but usually doesn’t drink too much.

When Amanda asked, Thornhill Pub said they didn’t tow vehicles and she checked with the towing companies and no one had it.

Police are investigating.

If you happen to see the truck, you can call Terrace RCMP at 250-638-7400.
