RCMP seize 17 pounds of marijuana at vehicle stop near Terrace, B.C.

Terrace RCMP seized 17 pounds of marijuana from a man at a vehicle stop on Hwy16 W July 19.

Right close to noon on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 the Terrace RCMP Crime Reduction Unit set up a vehicle stop in coordination with the North Pacific RCMP Traffic Services and the Department of Fisheries and Oceans.

With the assistance of the RCMP Service Dog, they located 17 lbs of marijuana.

A 56-year-old man was arrested and released with a court date.
