The Terrace RCMP is seeking public assistance in identifying any suspects in “a recent rash of mischief and vandalism” with spray paint.

Police received reports of personal properties being damaged with black spray paint at six different locations throughout Terrace and Thornhill some time during the night of Aug. 2 to the morning of Aug. 3.

The reported incidents involved damage to vehicles, houses and fences. Police suspect the incidents are related.

The vandalism was wide spread ranging from the southwest area of Terrace to the east in Thornhill, but police said the majority were in the area of Toynbee, Sande Ave and Old Lakelse Lake Drive.

Police are asking anyone who has not yet reported a recent incident of mischief with black spray paint to do so and to provide any video surveillance that may have captured the suspect in the act.

To report you can contact the Terrace RCMP at 250-638-7400 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
