Police look for possible drug dealer

The Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 45 calls for service from November 17th, 8 AM till November 19th, 8 AM

The Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 45 calls for service from November 17th, 8 AM till November 19th, 8 AM. During the same time period there were three people lodged in Terrace Cells. Two of these people were lodged for intoxication.

Downtown Terrace

A woman failing to leave a business on Eby St when asked. She left on her accord prior to police attendance.

Hit and run to a black 2000 Honda Civic parked at the Tim Horton’s parking lot on Lakelse Ave on Nov 17 at approximately 11 AM.

A man described as 20 to 30 yrs old, short blond hair, blue eyes, and acne scars wearing a black coat and carrying a bag selling marihuana and ecstasy in the downtown area. Checks were done of the area.

Abandoned 911 call. Numerous queries and calls were made. A busy signal was received at one of the phone numbers.

Telus broke through the busy signal at request of police. A person was spoken with and it was confirmed the 911 call was a pocket dial.

Intoxicated woman on Lakelse Ave. Police arrested a 38 yr old woman.

People sleeping in a garbage room of a motel to get out of the weather. Checks were done.

Elsewhere Terrace

Hit and run at the Sandman Hotel.

Theft of an IPhone 5 cell phone possibly occurred at the Skeena Middle School. Under investigation.

Domestic assault. A man and woman fighting on the street. BC Ambulance transported the woman to Mills Memorial Hospital for assessment. Under investigation.

A foul odor emitting from a tent by the Skeena River Old Bridge. Checks were done of the tent. No issues other than littering.

Abandoned 911 call. Numerous queries were done. A man was eventually located and spoken with. False cellular call.

Prohibited driver on Hwy 16 in a black 2002 Ford Escape. Checks were done.

Assist Mills Memorial Hospital with a patient. No issues.

A 14 yr old boy was bitten by a dog at the corner of Bailey St/Mountain Vista Ave. Minor injuries. Under investigation.

Familial dispute. A 25 yr old woman destroying a home because she was denied money to buy cigarettes. Police apprehended the woman under the Mental Health Act and transported her to Mills Memorial Hospital.

False business alarm on Sparks St. An intoxicated man was found passed out in behind the building. The 42 yr old man was transported to Mills Memorial Hospital due to his level of intoxication. Police attended the hospital later in the day and arrested the man again.

Domestic assault. A 48 yr old man was arrested and is held for court.

A man was assaulted on November 14th and the injuries he suffered required hospital attention. Under investigation.

Abandoned 911 call. Numerous checks were done. False cellular call.

Intoxicated man sleeping under a tree on Eby St. Police spoke with the man. He was sober.

A man walking on Kalum St pointed his finger at a woman like a gun. Checks of the area were done.

A truck being left to run for 45 minutes outside of a residence on Straume Ave. Police spoke with the man.

A person concerned that a student driver is operating a semi-truck with trailer in the area of Hwy 16/Hwy 37 on icy roads. Police spoke with the man. No offence committed.

Two men yelling at a woman on Sparks St. Police spoke with the two men. The woman had been following them around town all morning and wouldn’t stop so they yelled at her. No issues.

Wellbeing check on a family member who is into the drug scene. Checks were done. Ongoing investigation.

Intoxicated man sitting in the Park Ave Medical Clinic. Police arrested a 47 yr old man. He was transported to Mills Memorial Hospital for assessment. Police attended the hospital later in the day and arrested the man again.

Wellbeing check. Ongoing.

Landlord/tenant issues. Police spoke with the people involved.

A man at the shelter saying he was assaulted. Police spoke with the man and other people. Conflicting and confusing versions of events due to intoxication. Ongoing investigation.

Abandoned 911 call. Police attended to a residence on Tetrault St and spoke with people inside of the residence about proper use of 911.

Intoxicated man banging on the windows of a residence on Park Ave.

A red Nissan Pathfinder doing donuts in the Walmart Parking lot. Checks were done of the area.

Missing 15 yr old girl. She returned home later in the evening.

Assist Prince George RCMP with a wellbeing check.

Attempted break and enter to a residence on Haugland Ave. Entry to the home was not gained but there was damage to the residence.

Assist Fisheries with warrant execution.

Abandoned vehicle on Beam Station Rd. The registered owner had already made arrangements.

A green Jeep stunting in the area of Dejong Cr.

Uttering threats investigation.

Thornhill

A black four door Kia being driven with no tail lights or head lights in the vicinity of the Bear Creek on Hwy 16. Checks were done of the area.

Sexual interference investigation.

An intoxicated woman knocked on the door of a residence and asked for transport to another location. The request was denied. Checks were done of the area.

Rural

A blue 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche lost control and hit the ditch on Hwy 16 east just outside of Terrace. No injuries. No damage to vehicle.

Possible impaired driver in a red Ford Expedition on Hwy 37/Westside Rd. The vehicle was stopped in the middle of the road.

Kitsumkalum

An intoxicated man attempting to get into a vehicle not belonging to him at the Tempo. The man was picked up by a third party prior to police attendance.

Intoxicated man on an ATV. Police spoke with the people involved. Unsubstantiated.
