TERRACE RCMP are evacuating Northwest Community College after a bomb threat was called in at approximately 9:30 a.m. today.

Police are also asking people to stay off McConnell Drive between Floyd St. and Hwy 113.

"We're evacuating people so we don't want people coming back," said Const. Mark Foreman, as he was standing in front of a police vehicle blocking the entrance to the college parking lot.

Police are still clearing the buildings and they have brought in their emergency services command vehicle, in case the incident gets drawn out.

Reports say a bomb sniffing dog is on its way here.
