During the same time period, there have been 17 people lodged in cells – 12 of these people were lodged for intoxication.

Here are some of the calls responded to:

A silver 2000 GMC Jimmy was pulled over on Kalum St./Hamer Ave. The 22-year-old driver provided a sample of breath into a roadside screening device that resulted in a warn. She had an N driver's licence. She was issued a driving prohibition.

A man in custody uttered threats of a serious nature to the guard on duty. Charges were forwarded to Crown Counsel. Keith Seymour, 31, was charged and convicted of uttering threats and remains in custody.

A grey 2010 Ford Fusion was pulled over on Substation Rd./Hwy 37. It was emitting the smell of marijuana as it travelled down the road. The 25-year-old driver did not have a driver's licence and was a prohibited driver. He was issued a driving prohibition for being impaired by drug. Charges of driving while prohibited are being forwarded to Crown Counsel. The vehicle he was driving was impounded.

A man reported that there has been an ongoing monthly charge to his credit card that he had just noticed to an internet pornography site that he never authorized. Under investigation.

Possible domestic dispute in an apartment. Banging could be heard. Police spoke with a 21-year-old man who was angry when he reached a difficult part in Call of Duty, Modern Warfare 2 and was banging and hitting the walls.

Threats were uttered over Facebook to a man. Police spoke with the man and gave him advice which included blocking the person offending him.

Break and enter to a business on Kalum St. A hole was cut in the fence to gain access to a yard. Ladders, sawhorses, and scrap metal were stolen.

Attempted break and enter to a residence in the 4700 block of McConnell Ave. on April 2 at 1:30 p.m.

Group of intoxicated people at the Brolly Square. Police observed a woman punch and push a man to the ground. The 44-year-old intoxicated woman was arrested. The 48-year-old man was also arrested for intoxication.

He was not injured.

A 25-year-old suicidal woman was apprehended under the Mental Health Act and transported to Mills Memorial Hospital for assessment.

Break and enter to a business on Keith Ave. on April 3 at 9:25 p.m. Four tires were stolen and carried off in a truck.

Domestic assault. A woman was transported to Mills Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries she received. Police arrested a 44-year-old man. He is held for court. Charges of assault, uttering threats, assault with a weapon, and overcoming resistance have been forwarded to Crown Counsel. This incident occurred one day after the man's release from a correctional facility and he was on probation.

A 62-year-old man was walking in a crosswalk at Keith Ave./Sande Overpass and was struck by a 61-year-old man driving a red 1992 Subaru Legacy. The pedestrian was transported to Mills Memorial Hospital by BC Ambulance for treatment of minor injuries received.

A text threat was received. Police gave advice to the man which included blocking the phone number.
