Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 27 calls for service from February 3rd, 8 a.m. till February 4th, 8 a.m.
During the same time period, there have been five people lodged in Terrace cells – three of these people were lodged for intoxication.
Downtown Terrace
Man stumbling down Lazelle Ave. and Emerson St. Police requested the assistance of BC Ambulance due to the man's level of intoxication. The 41-year-old man was transported to Mills Memorial Hospital.
Three people consuming alcohol and begging people to buy them food at the Tim Horton's on Lakelse Ave. They left prior to police attendance. Checks were done of the area.
Found wallet at the Bear Country Inn. It was returned to its owner.
Elsewhere Terrace
Assist Quesnel Detachment with documents.
A person reported that his estranged spouse stole money and house keys during a visit to gather personal effects. Police spoke with the people involved. Unfounded.
Assault. A person thought another person was a witch attempting to turn him into a cat and stab him with spiritual daggers so pushed her in defense. Police spoke with the people involved.
Intoxicated person passed out under a bench in the George Little Park. Police arrested a 46-year-old man.

Police observed two people drinking alcohol in the George Little Park. Police spoke with the 56-year-old man and the 44-year-old woman and disposed of alcohol.
Police pulled over a grey Dodge Caravan on Hwy 16 / Munroe St. The 26-year-old driver did not have a driver's licence and had an action to serve a prohibition. The vehicle was impounded.
Three false business alarms on Pohle Ave, same business.
Domestic assault. No injuries. There was damage to property. Police arrested a 22-year-old man. The 23-year-old woman was transported to Mills Memorial Hospital for assessment.
A woman received a suspicious phone call. A man claimed to have gotten her number as a result of her damaging his vehicle. When the woman denied the allegation, the man became upset. Police spoke with the woman.
A 14-year-old boy out past his curfew. He returned home a short time later.
Missing 12-year-old girl. She was posting on Facebook that she was going to fight a group of girls near the Skeena River. Checks were done of the area.
Found CDs at the Skeena Mall sometime during the summer.
False residential alarm on Munthe Ave. Police were called off prior to attendance.
A 38-year-old woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant on Lakelse Ave.
Thornhill
An eight-year-old girl never showed up for school. Investigation determined that there was a miscommunication and the girl did attend school.
Police pulled over a black 2009 Nissan Sentra on Thornhill Frontage Rd./Desjardins Ave. The 40-year-old driver provided a sample of breath into a roadside screening device that resulted in a fail. He was served an Immediate Roadside Prohibition and the vehicle he was driving was impounded.
Man passed out near the Thornhill Creek Bridge. Police arrested a 39-year-old man for intoxication.
Rural
Erratic driver in a white truck. Police located the white 2012 Chevrolet Silverado on Greig Ave. and spoke with the driver.
Gitaus
A 31-year-old intoxicated man driving around in a blue minivan. When police were pulling into Gitaus off the highway, skid marks were observed going into the ditch. Closer examination revealed the blue minivan on its roof in the ditch. Nobody was found in the van. Police attended to the driver's residence and observed the man lying on the couch. Police were attempting to wake the man and check his well-being when the man turned and bit the police officer. Police arrested the man. The vehicle was towed.
Kitsumkalum
Harassment. Police gave advice on the matter.
