Iskut death ruled not suspicious

RCMP had first said foul play could not be ruled out

On March 26, 2014 the Dease Lake RCMP and the North District Major Crime Unit responded to the sudden death of a 22 year old man at the Iskut First Nation, near Dease Lake BC.

The incident was initially treated as suspicious as foul play could not be ruled out.

After conducting a thorough investigation, police have determined the death is not suspicious and the case has been turned over to the BC Coroner’s Service.
