Boat motors stolen in Terrace, BC

Two Mercury motors and one Yamaha motor taken from Kitsumkalum

Thieves made off with three boat motors last week.

Terrace RCMP were notified of the theft from the Kitsumkalulm Reserve Fisheries Compound on the morning of Monday, May 26th. The thieves gained access to the compound by cutting the chain link fence. The chain securing the motors was also cut.

The first motor is described as a Mercury 125 horse power long shaft jet unit. The second motor is a Mercury 15 horsepower long shaft propeller unit. The third motor is a Yamaha 4 horsepower long shaft propeller unit. The total value of these motors is $7500.
