Teen 'freaking out' on drugs taken to hospital

Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 35 calls for service from August 26th, 8 a.m. till August 27th, 8 a.m.

During the same time period, seven people were lodged in Terrace cells – five of these people were lodged for intoxication.

Downtown Terrace

Abandoned cellular 911 call. Police contacted the registered owner. It was a pocket dial.

Group of intoxicated people behind a restaurant on Lakelse Ave. Police arrested a 28-year-old man.

A bleeding child in a vehicle parked at a business on Kalum St. Checks were done of the area and of the registered owner's address.

Lost wallet containing various cards and ID, possibly at the dentist office on Park Ave.

Man passed out in a wheelchair in Brolly Square. Police spoke with the man who was sitting in the vestibule of the TD Bank.

Elsewhere Terrace

Lost grey iPhone 4s, possibly at the Aquatic Centre.

Intoxicated, partially clothed woman running around inside of Mills Memorial Hospital causing a disturbance. The 21-year-old woman was arrested.

Harassment complaint. Under investigation.

Vandalism to property on Hamer Ave. Under investigation.

Man passed out in the library. Police arrested a 29-year-old man.

Three youth drinking alcohol in a vacant lot in behind a residence on Park Ave. Checks were done of the area.

Missing 28-year-old man.

Unwanted people refusing to leave a residence. Police spoke with a man and a woman. They left.

Intoxicated man wearing a black ball cap driving a silver Dodge truck pulling a travel trailer asking girls on the street if they want to party. Checks were done of the area.

Intoxicated man causing disturbance at a residence on Lakelse Ave. Checks determined that there was a warrant out of New Hazelton. The 34-year-old man was arrested.

Missing 47-year-old woman.

Disturbance heard at a residence on Greig Ave. Police checked the residence and spoke with people inside. Unfounded.

A person consumed drugs and is now freaking out. Police observed a 19-year-old man suffering from delusions and acting irrational. BC Ambulance was called and transported the man to Mills Memorial Hospital.

Assist Ministry of Children and Families with four investigations.

A fake white leather with a black strap and a splat of ink on the back containing various cards and ID was lost on August 16, possibly near the Pizza Hut.

Thornhill

False residential alarm on Muller Ave. Police were cancelled prior to attendance.

Assist a man with picking up personal belongings.

Missing 13-year-old boy. He was located at McDonald's. He was transported home.

Intoxicated man unable to articulate where to be taken to, now passed out in the lobby of the Northern Motor Inn. He left on his own accord prior to police attendance.

Three men being loud at a residence on Muller Ave. Police spoke with a man.

Rural

Drug information.

Assist Stewart RCMP with investigation.

Erratic driver in a grey Ford F150 on Ackroyd Rd. Ongoing issue.

A red 1994 Dodge Spirit was pulled over on Hwy 37 south near Westside Rd. An amount of drugs was seized from the 54-year-old woman.

A wallet was found on Tweedle St.

Assist Ministry of Children and Families with an incident.
