Water tanker overturns while rushing to brush fire

Terrace RCMP responded to 37 calls for service from July 15th, 8 a.m. till July 16th, 8 a.m.

During the same time period, one person was lodged in Terrace cells for intoxication.

Downtown Terrace

Items were left with a person for safekeeping. The items were thrown out. This is a civil matter.

Landlord/tenant issues on Park Ave. The matter worked itself out before a criminal offence was committed.

Suspicious circumstances in a neighbourhood on Lazelle Ave. Police spoke with a man.

Familial dispute in a restaurant on Park Ave. It worked itself out prior to police attendance.

Man passed out in behind the Husky. Checks were done of the area.

Elsewhere Terrace

A man following a woman by the casino. Checks were done of the area.

The driver side window of a yellow truck was smashed out on Lazelle Ave. Police seized a gun for safekeeping.

Erratic driver in a silver car on Cramer St. Checks were done of the area.

Warrants were issued for a 24-year-old woman, a 24-year-old man, a 21-year-old woman, and a 46-year-old man for failing to attend court.

A grey 2006 Chevrolet Silverado truck and a red 2003 Toyota Highlander collided on the Sande Overpass. Minor damages and no injuries.

Erratic driver on a Suzuki motorcycle near Lost Lake.

Loss Prevention Officer of Walmart arrested a 15-year-old boy for shoplifting. He is banned from the store for a year.

Loud music from an apartment on Tetrault St. Police spoke with a man.

A cab took the wrong entrance into the Petro Canada on Hwy 16 east, hit the median, ran the ditch, busted out a tire, and tore off a rear bumper. The two fares inside of the cab were taken to Mills Memorial Hospital for assessment of minor injuries. Under investigation.

Man hiding in the bushes and scaring staff at Mills Memorial Hospital. The man was located a short distance away and spoken with.

Domestic dispute. It was a verbal argument. Police escorted a woman home.

Suspicious people sitting in a white Ford truck in the Baptist Church parking lot on Griffith St. On arrival police observed a man and a woman sitting the back seat of the truck. They were spoken with.

Abandoned tan 2004 Ford truck parked on Desjardins Ave. Police spoke with the registered owner.

A white 2007 Dodge Ram truck pulling a trailer was checked in the parking lot of the curling rink. The 58-year-old driver was issued a driving suspension for being impaired by drug. An amount of drug was seized.

False cellular 911 call.

Thornhill

Disturbance on Dogwood Ave. Police spoke with a woman. She was not in a good mood.

Familial dispute. A picture frame was broken. Police spoke with the people involved.

Two people were chased out of a yard on Clark St. for attempting to steal cans.

Unsecured load on a company truck on Old Lakelse Lake Dr. Police spoke with the registered owner.

Rural

Verbal dispute over the rules of the Thornhill Dump that escalated to name calling. Police spoke with the people involved.

Verbal dispute. Police spoke with the people involved. Many versions of events were received.

Assist Ministry of Children and Families with document service.

Drugs were seized during a vehicle pullover near Cedarvale.

Police assisted with traffic control for smoke at a bush fire near Old Lakelse Lake Dr. and Goodwin Rd.

Assist BC Ambulance with a patient.

Erratic driver in a semi truck unit on Hwy 37 near the airport. Checks were done of the area. Further information could not be obtained.

Erratic driver on a Suzuki motorcycle on Kalum Lake Dr. The bike was located near Findlay Lake and Lost Lake and the operator of the bike was spoken with.

A water tanker overturned when responding to a brush fire on Goodwin Rd. A tow truck was called to right it. No injuries.
