The fire danger is rising due to all the recent hot weather with many areas in the northwest already at the high and extreme danger levels.
According to the Northwest Fire Centre website, Terrace is listed as high danger as of the last actual rating July 19, and forecast to remain high through the weekend.
The ratings are taken from weather stations in each particular area.
