Passing of museum founder called a 'tremendous loss'

The following is a statement from Terrace Mayor Dave Pernarowski on the passing of Mamie Kerby.

"The passing of Mamie Kerby is a tremendous loss to the City of Terrace.

Mrs. Kerby has been very involved in the community and devoted herself to make Terrace the community it is today.

She comes from a pioneer family that has played a pivotal role in the development of Terrace. Her work to preserve the heritage of the community included the establishment of Heritage Park Museum and contributing to books describing Terrace’s history.

Mrs. Kerby's influence will be felt in Terrace for many years to come and we are saddened by her passing."
