A correspondent from CBC's The National is in Terrace today filming local multi-millionaire Bob Erb and locals who have been touched by his generosity since his big win just over a year ago.

Veteran journalist Reg Sherren, who is based in Winnipeg, spent the morning with Erb at his home in Thornhill just outside of Terrace.

After winning the $25 million Lotto Max jackpot last fall, Erb made headlines by giving away more than $7 million dollars to residents and businesses in the Terrace area.

This isn't the first interest a national news program has shown in Erb's story. Over the summer, Anna Maria Tremonti, host of CBC Radio's The Current, spent time with Erb here in Terrace for the program's Project Money documentary, Pass It Around.
