Terrace man charged with fraud

TERRACE RCMP are saying Kenny Fryia, 35, has been charged with four counts of fraud.

An investigation began on September 24 when a local business reported that Fryia had not paid for acquired accommodation in excess of $5000.

This led to numerous other businesses reporting other incidents of fraud, say police.

Fryia was on a Conditional Sentence Order at the time of the offences. He was arrested and incarcerated for the remainder of his sentence.

He was released on a Recognizance of Bail to appear in court on November 19th.

People with information on crime are asked to contact the Terrace RCMP at (250)638-7400 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers by telephone at 1-800-222-TIPS, online at External link, opens in a new windowwww.terracecrimestoppers.ca or by texting TERRACE plus your message to 274637 (CRIMES). If your information leads to an arrest you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2000.
