Child shoplifters caught at Terrace Walmart
TERRACE RCMP have responded to approximately 31 calls for service from February 21, 8 a.m. till February 22, 8 a.m. During the same time period, there were six people lodged in Terrace Cells. Four of these people were lodged for public intoxication.
a woman was observed with an open beer in a red Dodge Ram truck in the drive thru of Dairy Queen. Checks were done. The registered owner of the vehicle was spoken with.
a 34-year-old man was found by police in breach of his conditional sentence order. He was arrested and held for court.
two men, ages 32 and 30, were arrested for public intoxication on Lakelse Ave. during patrols.
shoplifter at the Safeway. A woman stole groceries and left the store in a red Ford Windstar.
a wallet containing various cards and ID was lost in the Safeway.
assault causing bodily harm investigation.
neighborhood dispute over noise levels. Police spoke with the people involved and gave advice on the matter.
abandoned 911 call from a residence on Cramer St. A woman was cleaning her phone.
a brown leather Australian wallet containing various cards, ID, and cash was stolen from a desk at the TDCSS.
Loss Prevention Officer of Walmart arrested a 33-year-old woman for shoplifting. Charges are being forwarded to Crown Counsel.
a 13-year-old girl was involved in a fight with two other girls at Skeena Middle School.
a 23-year-old woman AWOL from Mills Memorial Hospital. She returned on her own a short time later.
Loss Prevention Officer of Walmart apprehended three children ages 11, eight, and 12, shoplifting. They were released to their guardian.
familial dispute. A 64-year-old man was arrested for assault.
a 21-year-old man passed out behind the Suwilaawks School.
woman passed out in the lobby of a residence on Scott Ave. Police arrested a 30-year-old woman for public intoxication.
suicidal 34-year-old man. Police located the man at the Chances Casino. Unsubstantiated. He was arrested for public intoxication.
intoxicated 71-year-old man passed out behind the Skeena Liquor Store. Police requested the assistance of BC Ambulance who transported the man to Mills Memorial Hospital.
a man went to a location wanting a cheque. When he was told he couldn't have it till 1 p.m., he tore off a door.
a woman is constantly the victim of theft from her 16-year-old daughter and a 15-year-old boy.
abandoned 911 call on Dobbie St. False.
a woman was picked up on Hwy 16 and dropped off at the Terrace RCMP detachment. Police spoke with the 25-year-old woman and then transported her to Mills Memorial Hospital to be assessed.
a grey 2001 Chevrolet Silverado in the ditch on Hwy 16 near Canadian Tire. A tow was called and the truck was pulled out. No damage.

intoxication fueled familial argument. Police spoke with the people involved. Everyone was separated until cooler, sober heads could prevail.
