Northwest BC travel advisory issued

THE TRANSPORTATION ministry is advising motorists venturing east of Terrace on Hwy16 to excercise caution.

Freezing rain has made driving tricky.

"Travellers are advised to exercise caution and consider alternate plans," reads a notice this afternoon on the ministry's Drive BC road conditions website.

The forecast for tonight and tomorrow in the Terrace area calls for flurries and accumulations of up to 3cm.
