Terrace, BC school gives back
A DEC. 20 Christmas bazaar at Suwilaawks Community School helped raise money for the Salvation Army.
Students, teachers, staff and parents all helped with the bazaar held in the afternoon of Dec. 20.
It's the school's tradition not only to hold a bazaar but to raise money for the work the Salvation Army does in Terrace.
School principal Pam Kawinsky reported that the bazaar raised $1,873
"The afternoon bazaar held December 20 was filled with love, laughter and most importantly, the true meaning of Christmas .... giving," said Kawinsky.
She thanked Mrs. Curtis for taking on the lead role of organizing the event.
