Two arrested in northwest break in

Lisims/Nass Valley RCMP in the Nass Valley were alerted to a break and enter in progress in the early morning hours of November 11th, 2012 at the Gonu Store located at 4075 Rush Street, New Aiyansh.

Cst. Spencer Owen arrived minutes later to observe fresh foot prints in the snow leading to a side door where suspects gained entry, report RCMP.

Inside, police say the officer located two suspects trying to hide in the basement of the building. Two pack-sacks containing merchandise from the store were also located.

Both suspects, well known to police, were arrested and later charged with breaking and entering.

They have been released to family on strict conditions pending their court appearance on January 14th, 2013 in New Aiyansh.
