Vandals shut down school

AN EARTHQUAKE couldn't close the secondary school in Terrace but vandals apparently have.

Deliberate damage sometime Sunday to a power pole outside of Caledonia Secondary School has closed it.

The result is a closure of the school today, afffecting more than 700 students.

BC Hydro has told school officials the damage will be fixed today.

The school will re-open tomorrow.
